RM-AMP’s mission is to build STEM equity and excellence. 参加讲习班和研讨会, professional development events and skill building courses assists in building a student’s STEM Identity.
The purpose of this passport is to encourage you to attend activities that help gain skills for STEM careers and/or graduate programs while providing financial support. RM-AMP can also support you in the following examples: Cost of attending STEM conferences, 研究生入学考试, 研究生院申请费, and Professional organization membership Fees.
You must attend activities and have signatures on each activity attended. When your passport is complete, write a paragraph on what you gained from each activity. Submit your passport and paper to Lori Taylor SI 1051 by December 8, 2023.

Option 1
Complete RM-AMP Events, Research/Internship and Professional Development to receive $300. All activities must be completed my April 2024.
Option 2
Complete Career Building Section and receive $200.
Option 3
Complete one Skill Building Course and receive $300 – $600. Course must be completed by May 2024.

A brief summary of your experience is required
Completion of Option 1 requires you to turn in your passport and summaries of your events into Lori Taylor in SI 1051.

Upon completion you will receive a stipend of $300.00.

Spring 2024 Semester Friday 9:00 a.m. – 12:50 p.m.
This laboratory course provides experience performing laboratory techniques in molecular biology. Topics include a review of basic laboratory skills, 缓冲液的制备, use of instrumentation and advanced techniques such as cell fractionation, 电泳, and PCR.
